Playgrounds during corona virus

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a massive impact on society (a massive understatement). One tiny part of this impact has been on the smallest members of our community. It was a happy day, 15 May 2020, when the children’s playgrounds were set free and the tape and barricades removed (though it rained most of the day so kids still had to wait). Little did we know what was ahead. That in 2022 the Australian governments would abandon all pandemic protections in a “let it rip” strategy and that the federal health minister would characterise the resulting deaths as simply “a reaping.”
